Brandon lozdoski

With 30 years of wrestling experience spanning across Illinois, Ohio, and Michigan, Brandon now brings his expertise to the Pine Belt. He has a proven track record of guiding athletes to state championships and all-state recognition. At Oak Grove, he leads both the men's and women's wrestling teams, achieving notable success in their inaugural 2023 season with the school's first State Champion. Under his guidance, the boys secured six state place finishes, while the girls earned four medals, including a runner-up. Brandon's athletes have excelled at the national level, contributing to the advancement of Mississippi wrestling. He is a distinguished USA Wrestling Certified Coach and member of the Mississippi Wrestling All-Star coaching team.
Brandon continues to inspire and mentor aspiring wrestlers, building upon his own impressive legacy as a decorated wrestler at Harlem High School and Northwestern University. Brandon posted a 158-18 career prep record in Illinois. He was a four-time IHSA State Qualifier and three-time All-State wrestler, capping off his senior season in 2nd place. Brandon earned coveted All-American honors in Folkstyle, Freestyle and Greco wrestling disciplines.

Brandon earned a NCAA Division I scholarship to Northwestern University, a revered institution within wrestling's premier collegiate conference, the Big Ten. Brandon showcased his skills in both the 149lb and 157lb weight classes. Northwestern finished the 2006-07 season a program-best fourth in the NCAAs. Among his teammates were esteemed National Champions, a Hodge Trophy Winner, All-Americans, World Medalists, and two Freestyle Olympians, reflecting the caliber of competition and camaraderie he experienced at the collegiate level.
